London & The South East
All the sites of one of the world's great cities, plus Kent and Sussex, where all the major history of Britain unfolded. Canterbury, Hastings, Rye are a few of the famous places, but I will take you to places you have never heard of, but which are of great historical significance or general interest.

Stonehenge

The West Country
On our way west we can see Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath and then onto the lovely counties of Devon and Cornwall - moors, lovely little fishing villages, gardens, a theatre on the cliffs, gorgeous scenery.

The Cotswolds & The Midlands
Honey stone villages and towns in rolling hills. Quiet streams, cream teas and peace are the hallmarks of the Cotswolds. A short ride away there is Warwick with it's mighty Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon, the birth place of Shakespeare. Come with me to Sulgrave Manor to see where the Stars and Stripes originated.

Portmeirion, North Wales

North Wales
Outstanding scenic beauty, plus castles, lakes, Portmeirion (where "The Prisoner" was filmed), mountain steam railways, Victorian seaside towns and more scenic beauty.

The Lake District
An area of Northern England famous for not only its lakes, but its mountains, its steamships and of course, Wordsworth.

Scotland
From the wonderful City of Edinburgh to the Highlands and Islands and the Border Country, this land ooozes history and stunning scenery.

Europe

So many interesting places - here are just a few:-

Holland
Edam, Volendam, Marken, Arnhem (Market Garden), Amsterdam & Zuiderzee

Belgium
The beautiful city of Bruges (known as the Venice of the North), the Ardennes, a wonderful forested area where the Battle of the Bulge took place

France
Of course there's Paris, but also the D-Day Beaches & other wonders of Normandy, Monet's Garden, The Vendee, The Loire, Mr Hulot's Statue and the Submarine Pens at StNazaire.

Germany
The Moselle & Rhine Rivers, Black Forest, Berlin & Kastell.

Italy
Tuscany, Siena, Florence, Venice & Rome.

Spain
Seville, Madrid, Barcelona, the Mountains of the Moon & the Alhambra Palace.
